*All You Magazine: STILL On RollBack at Walmart!*

I keep forgetting to write that on May 26, 2011 All You Magazines were still on Roll Back at Walmart.

So I bought two copies of the June issue at $1.88 each instead of $2.49 each.

Each issue has $91.60 of coupons in it.  So just like last month,   if it were not on sale, then my two magazines (before tax) would have cost $4.98 for $183.20  worth of coupons.

But since it was on sale, I paid only $3.76 (before tax) for $170.64 worth of coupons.

My subscription finally took, and I received my first issue (July's) in the mail.  I thought if it had a lot of good coupons in it, I would still go pick up an additional one at Walmart.  But I honestly have not used a single coupon from ANY of the All You Magazines yet, so I didn't bother buying a second July issue.

All You Magazine: On RollBack at Walmart this month!

All You Magazine is on RollBack at Walmart this month!

Every single time I try to find this magazine at my local Walmart, I have never been able to find it.  I assume that they normally charge you the cover price of $2.49 an issue.

For the next few weeks, Walmart has this magazine on sale for only $1.88!  So that's a savings of $0.61 (before tax)!

Knowing that my subscription is not going to kick in for at least another month, I just ran to Walmart (on my lunch break!) to see if I could grab the May issue on sale.  To my surprise my store actually had the magazine!  I have been contemplating going to other Walmart locations to see if they have it.  But today I found at least 4 copies of the May issue at my store!  I was so excited that I decided to grab two of them.

I ran to a price scanner to make sure that they were in fact ringing up $1.88 an issue instead of $2.49.  If they were not on sale I was only going to buy one.  But they did ring up on sale so I decided to grab 2.
I have heard of plenty of couponers out there who have multiple subscriptions to this magazine to maximize the amount of items they can be saving on.  So I didn't think it was too strange for me to get two.

Let's just hope that the May issue is choked-full of awesome money-saving coupons that I will want (since I will have doubles).  Let's also hope that these coupons do not expire for a while...And that I haven't missed too many good sales already.  Hopefully I have plenty of time and sales left to use my two magazines worth (or at least some of them, assuming I won't actually use all) of coupons up!

The cover says that there is "$85.32 worth of coupons in this issue".

So if it were not on sale, then my two magazines (before tax) would have cost $4.98 for $170.64 worth of coupons.

But since it was on sale, I paid only $3.76 (before tax) for $170.64 worth of coupons.

$4.98 - $3.76 = Savings of $1.22

And to take it a step further, I actually had a Walmart gift-card that I have been forgetting to use for many months.  I finally remembered to use it today.  Thus making my $170.64 worth of coupons actually absolutely free! :)

Because of my gift-card, I was actually tempted to purchase more than two of the magazines...But I decided to wait until the June issue comes out.  If my subscription hasn't kicked in by then, then I will want to go to Walmart to buy the June issue, and I can use the rest of my gift-card on that if I haven't used it on anything else by then.  Or, I can always just spend the $1.88 for another book of coupons...Or $2.49 if it is not on sale anymore.  I am sure that the $2.49 pays for itself if you are really into couponing.

Either way, I am excited to look through the magazine and see what coupons it contains! (Twice)  :-)

Haha I couldn't wait to take a picture of my two copies!

Weight Watchers Magazine Subscription

One Year of Weight Watchers Magazine (6 issues) is $14.95
So that comes to $2.49 an issue.

But today Tanga  has the year subscription for only $3.99!  (Use the Discount Code 'WEIGHT' at checkout and their $14.99 price will subtract $11 and leave you with a total of $3.99 )
So that comes to less than $0.67 an issue!

AND now with my new ebates knowledge, I will be earning back 2.5% of that order.

Sure, that only earns me about a dime. ($0.09975 to be exact)  But free money is free money.

So $3.89 makes each issue less than $0.65 each!

And now I just have to sit and play the waiting game.
I cannot wait to start receiving my insanely cheap magazines for All You & Weight Watchers, but I think that they are going to take around 2 months before I receive the first magazine.  And since Weight Watchers is only 6 issues, maybe it will take even longer.

But I'm pretty excited about those two magazine purchases! :)

Since neither of those two magazines were any of the free ones I could get from My Coke Rewards.

All You Magazine!

I have been debating about subscribing to the All You Magazine or not for a little while now.
Well, I just gave in and subscribed to it!

MyCNYMommy explains how to get an AMAZING deal on this magazine today!  (Thanks, SO much MyCNYMommy!)

It ends up coming down to $4.99 for the year subscription!

Which comes to less than $0.42 an issue!

And that just seemed MORE than worth it to me.  Assuming that each magazine will help me save more than $.50 a month. :)  I'm pretty positive that it will, since most people think $20 for the year is worth it because of all of the coupons you get out of it.

So let's hope the deal worked correctly, and that my $19.97 subscription will receive the $14.98 credit.  Worse comes to worse, I just finally ordered the magazine and paid the $20...But should save more than that in coupons over the next year.

So we'll see what happens.

I'm so excited! :)

All You Magazine...To Subscribe or Not To Subscribe?

Every Couponing Blog I read constantly mentions how wonderful the magazine All You Magazine is.  I had never heard of it before.  But apparently each month it has a TON of coupons in it.  So many that the magazine pays for itself.  I have been hesitant on ordering it, since I am trying to stick with only using coupons that I get for free.

But when you subscribe for the full year, it comes to $1.66 or $1.67 an issue...Or even $1.42 an issue when you buy 2 full years. And if you are going to use the coupons each month to save over $2, then the magazine kind of pays for itself.  I presume you would save way over $2/Month with these coupons at least.

So while contemplating whether or not I want to order this magazine, I had an idea.  I have been collecting the points off of the caps of Coke products for years on My Coke Rewards.  And I normally never know what to cash the points in for, so I usually always just use them to get subscriptions to magazines.  Now note the fact that most of these Coke points are never from anything I buy, they are usually ones I take from friends who have purchased a Coke product but are not collecting the rewards points for themselves.  Thus resulting in whatever I cash them in for to be absolutely free to me.

Which brings us to the wonderful idea I had.  What if I could cash them in for a subscription to All You Magazine?  I have enough points to even subscribe to the magazine twice, and get double the amount of coupons for FREE!

Sadly, I just checked MCR's site, and that magazine is not one of the options.  :(

I am really disappointed.  Because I got really excited thinking about at least getting one year of that magazine and all of the coupons for free.

So the other thing I am wondering is, how much does this magazine cost per issue from a store?  Because a lot of websites list the coupons that each month's issues have in it.  So I am wondering if I just wait until the list comes out, see if there are any coupons I need, and then go to the store and pay per issue.  That way I won't be paying for issues that might not have any coupons in it that I need.  But it also depends on how much the magazine will cost.  If it seems that there are always good coupons in it, and I end up buying it monthly at the store anyway, then it is probably cheaper in the long run to just order a subscription.

I guess I need to think about this some more...
